While the rooms may feel perfectly cosy and courtyards wide enough to unfurl all your musings across, but as you sip your tea overlooking the sun dance behind the dunes, you will realise just how far removed you really are from the world.

Village Cottages

While the retreat enriches your stay with experiences as “Indian” and vibrant as they come, it is also fully geared with modern amenities that take no backseat when it comes to your homely comforts. Each of the 16 cottages replicates the local architectural style of Rajasthan – ‘Dhanis’ or tribal huts that are well equipped with air conditioning and heating. The accommodation experience is complete with spacious ensuite bathrooms providing 24 hours hot and cold running water, a bath cubicle, wash basin and a luggage table.
Enjoy the cosiness of ‘best-in-class’ linen while you rest, or when you can’t, perhaps a writing table to scribble away your thoughts comfortably. A wardrobe and a dressing area adds to the finishing touches of your home away from home.

Recreation Room

The retreat is equipped to keep all your senses engaged with activities that you can comfortably take all day and evening to enjoy! Just stroll down a few steps from your cottage and open another door to fun indoor games such as Snooker, Table Tennis and various other board games such as Chess, Scrabble amidst many more. You could also just sit and read a book from our little library or just relax outside and relish the beauty of the Aravallis and the soothing hum of the birds.

Taraash

Taraash- the word means “to find” or to Chisel out. Taraash as an organization that helps in showcasing handmade artwork of the Indian subcontinent. Thus, bringing diverse art of men and women under one roof, the initiative helps promote local art in various regions and also gives everyone an insight into the dexterity, hardwork and beauty of the various arts practiced by artisans from over centuries and generations. This platform strives to provide these very artisans a steady income throughout the year and a well deserved recognition that is slowly staggering as newer times and trends keep unfolding
The Tarash store, located within the retreat, is a show window where one can buy the handicrafts directly from the artisans and not from a middle man.

Sahil – The Library

SAHIL- a children’s Library, is a small initiative by the Retreat to put a smile across the faces of the village children. Here they can visit on a daily basis after their School to learn English – reading and writing and also enjoy fun and games, art and craft, singing, dancing and however their hearts wish to be. Our Volunteers help them with all the activities thus promoting their interpersonal relationship and communication skills. The maintenance of the library is done by the donations we receive from our guests. The library is also a platform for learning for the local farmers wherein they are introduced to the basics of organic farming and are helped to understand its benefits and how they can implement and promote the same.

Dining

A spacious, cosy 24 seater teakwood table lays at the hut around which our team combines the traditional flavours and fragrances sourced from the length and breath of our country, with ease and finesse. Nestled within the folds of a valley, the dining hall lays at the foothills of The Aravalli hills. The dining experience is enriched by winnowing fields of organic grain, vegetables and fruits, which increasingly facilitates an opportunity to provide our guests with a farm to table dining experience. Thus, you relish freshness in this retreat, in every way that you can think of.

Expansive Lawns

No home or retreat is ever complete without a sprawling open lawn that spells fun and frolic like no other. The retreat will have you equipped in no time to thoroughly enjoy a game of Croquet, Cricket and Badminton. The staff will always be delighted to join you if you require company. Or perhaps take a meditative barefooted walk over the grass, some Yoga at sunrise, or that book you’ve been wanting to silently read all this time or just try and name as many bordering vibrant flowers that you can! The retreat’s lawns are massive, green and spacious and comfortably accommodate all ideas of fun and relaxation.
